How durable are Zeus locks?

A well made digital lock can typically last up to five years.

Many factors can also affect the performance of your locks.

They include: Exposure to weather elements,
types of batteries used, and maintenance of the locks.

It is also important to engage a skilled installer to do the installation to avoid unnecessary damages to your door.

Where can I find Zeus digital locks in Singapore?

You can view our locks at our exclusive distributor, Zansan Singapore. They are located at 507 Balestier Road S329847.

DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY

Will there be additional charges for delivery & installation?

Our distributor, Zansan Singapore, provides free delivery and installation. There will be no additional charges.

What is the installation schedule like?

Zansan provides installation from Monday to Sunday between 9am to 6pm. After carting out your order, our
sales representative will contact you to arrange for installation. You can
specify your desired delivery date and time.

WARRANTY

How long is my warranty and what does it cover?

Warranty covers parts and labour and up to 5 years. You can choose to top up for warranty extended.

Standard warranty exclusions:

a) Battery leaks (Use Panasonic Evolta and do not mix old and new batteries, replace batteries every six months.

b) Absence of working door closer.

c) Physical damage

d) Accessories such as remote control has no warranty.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

What type of batteries should I use for my digital lock?

Latest model of Zeus digital locks is using Rechargeable Lithium Battery. (can purchase with us)

Some models require only 4 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.

For models with 8 batteries compartment, we recommend using only 4 batteries at one time to reduce the probability of battery leakages.

Use reliable battery brands to prevent battery leakage which could damage your lock. Digital lock damaged from battery leakage is not covered under warranty.

We recommend the customers to use Panasonic Evolta brand of battery that have been proven to be more reliable as compared to other brands such as Ikea and GP where battery leakages have been
encountered before.

In addition, please do not use:

  • Carbon-zinc type battery
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Lithium batteries

How often should I change my battery?

Batteries should be changed immediately once the low battery indicator lights up.

In addition, we recommend customer to change all 4 batteries once every 6 months (even if there is no low battery
indicator) as batteries with low power are more prone to battery leakages.

What if the battery run out?

In the event of power outrage, users can use a 9 volt battery or powerbank and cable to jumpstart the locks for authentication.

Two weeks before the power runs out, the digital locks will prompt the users to replace batteries hence it is unlikely
to meet a power outrage situation.
